text messaging

Am I the only person who doesn't text message?

Used to get spam ones that were charging me like $12/mo, so I had it disabled. Even when my stupid friends sent them, I just called them back. I'm not typey-typing on those tiny little keys when its so much easier to just make a call.

Hi Alan,
Just sent you a text. In case you didn't get it, the answer is 'yes', you are the only person I know, WITH A CELL PHONE, that doesn't text.
If I were getting charged $12 to deal with spam, I would have done the same.

Predictive text mode makes it a whole lot easier/faster. However sometimes you say things you dont mean two win yu puss the booties.

Text messaging prevents awkward silences at least...... great for those "sorry about the venerial disease" moments.

It has a place. sometimes it's inconvenient to call, sometimes you're just leaving an fyi, sometimes you're in a meeting. I prefer phone calls, but sometimes it's just easier. If I want to send a message, i know someone is busy, i'll text so to not interupt them, they can see what i have to say without answering my call.
