Are SVX hubs interchangeable with other Subaru hubs?

Wondering if SVX 5x114 hubs could be changed out with Subaru Legacy 5x100 hubs for a wider variety of wheel options. Has anyone tried? (I think the '97-'04 Legacy GT 16" spoked wheels would look great on an SVX.)

In my opinion switching to 5x100 will be actually limiting yourself in wheel options unless your gonna get ROTAS the downside to owning an impreza/wrx/legacy and such with the 5x100 its harder to find wheel options due to it not being that common of a bolt pattern.

The problem with the SVX as well as most other Subaru's is the fact that we need high offset wheels so switching bolt pattern's won't change anything.

As someone who owns both... the 5x100 wheel designs, especially high-offset, are very limited.

5x114.3mm (commonly known otherwise as 5 x 4.5 inches) is a much more common pattern.

Nissans, Mazdas, Hondas, new and FWD GM, Ford, and others... even the new Mustang has high-offset wheels with the 5x114.3 bolt pattern (about 40mm or greater offset depending on wheel width), that as long as it doesn't hit the calipers, and the center-bore fits on the center of the hub, or is larger, and can use a centering ring spacer, it should fit, and work.

Most aftermarket wheels are set for those sizes.

Even most aftermarket 5x100 wheels for Scion and Audi/VW are around 35mm offset, and too low an offset for a Subaru to wear. Some scion OEM fitment wheels can fit, but require milling out the center bore to fit the subaru hub center.

Stick with 5x114.3. I WISH my Legacy had that, along with WRX STI bilsteins and brembo brakes. The wheel choices are much greater for that pattern.
