Iris Check Valve

How do you know if it is good or bad? Is there a way to check it?

Re: Iris Check Valve

If you remove it from the engine, and can blow through it only one way it's good.
If it has a split or crack in it, it could still work, but at $21.00 or so from Subaru you should just replace it.
