Dash Problem
So yesterday i parked my svx at a friends house to ride with him to another friends house. I come back this morning to go home and i get on the highway and realize, "wait my speedometer isn't working?"
My speedometer my odometer and my tripometer just stopped working overnight for no reason. But whats weird is my tach and temp gauge and fuel gauge still work fine. All it did was sit outside in his driveway nothing was touched on it no one did anything to it. I dont understand. Anyone know anything? |

Re: Dash Problem
Had a similar problem before.
Mine turned out to be the front speed sensor. I had knocked the connection to it just enough to disturb the signal. Cleanin the contact up got everything working again for me. Check the front vehicle speed sensor connection - maybe get some sandpaper and clean up the terminal (about 1" in front of the gear oil dipstick where the heater core hoses go into the firewall. ) http://www.subaru-svx.net/forum/show...ht=speedometer
