Driver's Side Door Lock is Stiff
So all of a sudden my drivers side door lock is hard to turn. It catches if you jiggle the key a bit, but it feels stiff when it does turn. Also the key fob doesn't lock or unlock anymore, (nor does it make the beeps). It may just need a new battery but I'm betting the 2 issues are related. It has ben sitting for about a 5 days but worked fine before.
I puffed some graphite in the key hole and it improved, but only a little. Right now it is usable but definitely a pain to lock. Any suggestions?

Mine were stiff when I got the car last year. A little bit of WD-40 later and my locks were in fine shape.

Quickest way to do it is to take a can of penetrating oil, attach the little plastic tube to the nozzle, stick it into your lock, and spray. Insert key, turn back and forth a whole bunch of times. That should loosen it up pretty well.

Happiness is an easy fix.
Just a few squirts of penetrating oil and good as new.
I must be on a lucky streak lately. Thanks for the input everyone.
