Quick Change for the SVX.

Tired of the way your SVX Auto changes gear?
Don’t like the slow, lingering, Luxurious changes?

The “Quick Change” transforms the SVX gear changes into fast firm changes that suit the way you drive. Drive easy the changes are easy. Drive hard and the box changes hard and fast, just the way you have always wanted it to. You can control the changes with your right foot on the throttle.

The “Quick Change” is the result of my long held desire to improve the gear change action of the 4EAT that is used in our car. I have over 50 years of Automotive Engineering experience to call on, in designing this unit that is utterly reliable, causes no problems, and is easy to connect with the suppled connectors.

You don’t need an expensive valve body job, just $120 and 20 minutes of your time.

Available now from SVX Parts Central.

Re: Quick Change for the SVX.

That sounds good Harvey. I'll be having one of those from Jason.

Combined with the switchable Power Mode this should make the SVX into a decently sporting drive.

Thanks for the research and effort.

Looking forward to it Harvey. My car is currently having service done. I still have gearbox problems, and I'm hoping a tighten of the brake band will give me back 2 range and 4 range. Plus it is getting new front CV boots and a few other tweeks.

I have a very busy couple of months coming up, but maybe I can get the Quick Change and the Power Mode installed before the JAE show end of August.

Joe

Re: Quick Change for the SVX.

Hey there

Is there a way of ordering the "QC" within Australia. The link advises it would come from USA or am I mistaken?

I am in NSW, as is the builder of the "QC"!!

Sorry if I have misunderstood.

Re: Quick Change for the SVX.

Anyone else tried this. I'm just curious for a larger consensus of this product. If it truly is a positive improvement, I'll gladly try it.

Well I would like to say that it "reduces the 1/4 time by 0.25 sec." but no body has run the 1/4 with one yet. It won't happen here in Australia as we don't have the 1/4 mile strips that you have in the US.

Eventually some body will do it, and we will know how much difference it does make. Theory says it will, the butt dyno says it will, so we will have to wait till somebody puts the numbers on the board.

Harvey.
