Actually, he walked on a leash really good! He was a really cool pet, but I didn't have means to keep him in the house.. Someday I'll have another one!

I have found in life that people who like dogs and pets in general are the nicest people so here's to you all. Wish I still had Luke my Rhodesian Ridgeback but would again have to have a station wagon. Come to think of it I would gladly trade my SVX to have him back.

Hello Trevor

My daily use vehicle is a station wagon (VW Passat, 1.8 liter turbocharged, 5 speed manual trans) so that I can take "The Thundering Herd" with me when I want!

Do station wagons go by any other names in your part of the world? I know they are called variants, estates, shooting brakes and a few others based on locale.

Todd

I haven't owned a real pet for quite some time. The last two cats I had both died of kidney failure within two months of each other I'm not going to put myself into that situation of possibly being hurt again. I'm content with Scooby. The most he ever needs is to be blown up a lil'. He sit beside me at my computer desk

B.C.

P.S. The pics are from over two years ago. Since then the '94 grill has been replaced by the '97 grill, the subaru emblem has been replaced with the Japan only emblem, and the swirl marks have all been buffed away Im getting it to were I want it to be a lil' at a time.

Pigs

Hello Todd,

When composing my post I was not sure what to call my station wagon because of what you say. This the usual here but ÒestateÕ does get used and we know what the others describe as you do.

My last one was a manual 4.2 litre V8 Australia Holden which had ÒOutback SuspensionÓ i.e. up rated shocks and stiffer spring rates, also a quick rack so that it really handled and was a very Quick motor car. I did have 5 cars but have retired to a more compact residence so am reduced to two, the SVX and a 1971 FF1 Subaru which I like so much I have retained since new when I won a production circuit racing series with it.

As a matter of interest my daughter lives on the edge of the city within walking distance of a shopping complex but has a 7 acre block of land and has many pets and my grand daughters have horses and ride in equestrian events.

The pets of special interest are 3 pigs. Two are native pigs and the third a genuine wild Captain Cooker (hunted here with dogs and a knife for sport), which is just now being banished from indoors as it no longer a piglet! These are big big pigs. Just to put you right the house and estate is immaculate and quite a show piece. Pigs kept right are as clean as any dog. There are of course two dogs included in the line up.

Nice to talk to you, Trevor.
