Exclamation custom crank

lunati will take the stock forged crank and customize it up to 3.82 inches for a sqare bore and 4.3L

Yes stroking the EG33 would only involve the crank & rods. The $64 question is, where would you source the crank? Are you saying that the Porsche engine has the exact same bearing spacing/diameter? The thoughts of an EG37 are VERY intriguing.

Is there enough room at the base of the cyls for a stroke that long... or in the crank case?
Thats close to a .87" stroke increase.

I dunno about others Jim, but I am talking about theoretical engine output, at the crank.

There is little point in talking wheel horsepower. This will vary depending whether an auto or manual box is used.

Engine output will be what it is, based on the quality and diligence of the build.

I was assuming a very worked over head.
It is hard to ballpark theoretical power numbers without airflow potential.
My highly reworked heads and cam swap flows more air than your theoretical heads and cams.

Yes, agreed.

The increases in power my numbers represent are based on the OEM efficiencies of the SVX mill, as it is.

Going for bigger output than this will require getting everything right, plus improving flow dynamics.

could you not just fit the existing fans to the outside instead of the inside??

.87" does seem like a very large increase in stroke to me too.

No. They are big. No room.
