50/50 Weight Distribution
I read a lotta car magazines that talk about 'perfect' 50/50 weight distribution, and noticed in literature our SVXi are more like 56/44.

Would a perfect 50/50 weight balance be more desirable in our cars?

Maybe a fiberglass hood up front, battery relocation, etc...

thoughts, comments?

i imagine that it would be 56 front to 44 rear...
yeah..reducing some weight in the front should do the trick.
carbon fibre hood..take off the plastic covers...lightweight this and that...remove the a/c condensor and compressor...battery relocation...

as long as you have something to actually weigh the distribution..you should be able to see your progress

It takes a lot to do this.
19.5# hood, lighter f bumper, battery in the trunk, 2# glove box door rather than the stock 4#.
1921.3
28.5# lesser hood
13# less bumper mod
80# transfer moving battery to trunk





Still working on it.
3580#@56/44= 2004.8/1575.2
3580# divided by 2=1790#= 50/50

With those mods, front is 1921.3 and rear is 1615.2 or 54.3/45.7
