zex is about the best bang for the buck,do not forget to upgrade your fpr or you will be burst vacuum lines with anything over a 75 shot.

A few questions for you...

Wet or dry kit?
What jets are you planning on running?
What does your exhaust look like?
Have you done your homework on the operations and dangers of N20?(trust me, I did this and it helps you understand how it works and why it works much better)

Tom

Wet or dry kit? ~Dry

What jets are you planning on running? ~55 shot only

What does your exhaust look like? ~shot for now, all new in 2 weeks tho

Have you done your homework on the operations and dangers of N20?(trust me, I did this and it helps you understand how it works and why it works much better) ~yes I have, and I was going to ask you actually, which plugs should I run, I know its supposed to be a colder plug... but which for a small dose?

Most people on this board use iridiums, but I have used autolites nonresistor on nos for years, also with a small shot like that you don't need to switch plugs,I RAN bosch plugs plus 4s with a 75 shot not recommended for you,go the safe route.

alright, I run platinum tipped bosch... they're 10 bucks a piece but they work great... I will plumb it all up and them charge the bottle... then I will compare before to after on the strip...
this whole thing came about because me and my friend want to race the legal way, he has a 455 big block delta 88 and it was going to be a stock vs. stock race, but he put on an edlebrock intake and holly 4 barrel carb... as well as some other small things, so I am just re-evening the origonal race before I might turbo the car... so I am going to do the ZEX nos kit, small intake stuff, exhaust and a new ECUtune chip... not sure which yet tho...

Why not platinum, it would seem like running the right heat range and gap for a plug would be the only important part.

I have the precats removed and just a high flow 2 into 1 cat then glasspack then flowmaster.
the main 2-1 cat I added in about 3 months ago and gained some low end power back when it went in. (Harvey was right .... again)
so - Tom/Jesse/Mike/Walter/etc.
should I remove the cat to run the ecutune stage 2 nitrous kit at @ 100hp or am I ok there with the cat.
I am too much of a chicken to run the 165 shot.

gotta cut the pre-cats to run the 165 I would suggest doing it for the 100shot as well, last thing you want is to melt the pre-cats and clog the exhaust

The Magnaflow cat has a ceramic brick. The cat might turn cherry red, but you won't melt it. :-) I think you can leave it for a 100 HP shot. There are plenty of cars with 300 HP running cats without issue.
