LOL im sure the nabisco people will love this, im a piece of garbage ? since when did this became a childish name calling thread?
i proved my point , untill i see some 13-12 second or 11 second svx's time slips and video required, your getting no sympothy from me or any others who takes racing serously no need to drag this on to more of a flame thread you guys are causing, and no i dont think im better then any one else who ever said anything even close to that statement?

Fast or pissing contest
I am not going to quote anything or use anyone's name.
I do want to think that by some peoples opinions, I have "wasted" the last 6+ years of my time. I know there are many here that autocross, bracket/drag race, and even rally their SVX's. I know we all have our own opinions here. I dont claim to have a FAST SVX. My "nearly" stock times are 15.7 at 89 miles per hour (at sea level). My most extreme mod is the ecu chip/pack from ECU Tune. Some points I would like to share as FACT. The SVX was not designed or produced as a "race car" You can turn just about anything (including a Ford Focus) into a race car Everyone here is encouraged to have their own opinions. You dont have to agree with them, just dont call someone stupid or think they are dumb becuse they dont agree with YOUR opinion. As most people here know, I have graduated from a rookie/novice racer to a fully accomplished NHRA competitor. Although the SVX was not my first car I raced, I am now starting my SEVENTH year of racing the same SVX. If someone here has the opinion that you cannot be competitive with the SVX, I challenge them and any car they want to bring to the challenge. I have sent home very competitive racers from both ends of the field. 19 second stock WV bugs to 10 second dragsters. Most of my fellow competitors drive modified muscle cars of the 60s and 70s. Because I leave the typical "greater/faster than thou" attitude at home, I am a professional sportsman. I win some, I loose some. Best of all, my fellow competitors dont even view me as an "import" driver/racer. At some point I would like to make changes to the car to improve speed and reduce times. One of the two major things I need to have done to accomplish this will take place shortly. I am getting my second SVX on the road as a daily driver so I can do more to the race SVX without serious inconvenience. Keep in mind that all of my wins and trophies have been received in this nearly bone stock SVX that is about to turn 200K miles. Same motor. The car has been raced since 2000 on the same tranny. The only problem with it now is the transfer clutch is getting slow engagement. I attribute this to way too much fun in the snow and off pavement rally style driving. As I noted earlier, I can/have proved the SVX (or just about anything else) can be used as a race car. I have a 4th place win in a national event and I have accomplished a good enough points season to put me in the Summit ET Division Finals for a shot at the National Sportsman title. I cannot promise a win, but I sure will try to put an SVX at the Pamona Nationals sometime soon. Imagine the press that would get!

For me, anything I do to my SVX's is 99% enhansing the driving experience in one fine car and 1% how it compares to anyone elses ride.

Wow. I can't believe there's an argument going on here. Any car can be made to go fast. The SVX is no exception. My L model car with a 5MT weighs in at 3390 lbs with 1/2 tank of gas. That's only 100 lbs more than an Evo or STi. The EG33 is a reasonably solid motor to work from. It just takes more devotion and more ingenuity than what it takes to make a WRX fast.

the fact that he has made that statement shows a clear lack of understanding. just becuase someone hasnt made parts for the SVX, dosnt mean it cant be made faster. Somebody has just done all the hard(and satisfying) work for you with the WRX.

phil injectors//fmic//turbo//tunning/exhaust//etc dont get installed by them self , i spent hours upon hours on tunning and dialing in the car off EGT and wide band,
i have been doing this much much longer then you have, yes i understand the svx can or does have some pottential it will take hard work and time, but its very very limited on what it can do, im looking foward to your track times and dyno numbers and wish you the best of luck with them, do you have a way to data log and adjust the timming curve? are you using a 2 or 3 dimensional tunning system? or just a simple piggy back like the super AFC or MAF translater,

phil what is your exact afr ? 12? what is your egt's runing at, are you running any type of fuel cut sysytem in case of boost spike? how much timeing are you adding and pulling out? are you monitoring the knock threshhold? whats the injector duty cycle at ? again there is a lot more to it then just welding a bunch of pipes together and slapping a turbo on it, with a FPR adjustments whene are you going to lower the compression ratio? and when do you plan to get forged internals to hold the extra forces your inducing on it?
