Great to hear! Are you going to do anything to make this one last?

(tranny cooler, shift kit, regular flushes...)

Regular maintance is the key to keep any car in a good shape, but i figured Calgary is way too cold to install tranny cooler
By the way, I bought the part from Subaru parts. Total cost $194 US (shipping included) + $30 CAN GST/Duty, showed up on my door step 7days after initial order, including weekend. Much better than the local dealers...Thanks for the advice

Paul..congrats. .I need to replace my TPS as well. Just waiting to get some more cash in my wallet. Just dumped $800 into the car after purchasing in August.

Earthworm..Obviously you're a fan of the shift kit. My shifts seem O.K. with the exception of 2 to 3 which is a little delayed. I unplugged the resistor, behind the battery tonight on the way home. The shifts were much more firm but too firm for me. Does the shift kit make the shifts just right? Not to firm...not to delayed. I know this is all subjective. just looking for your, or others opinions. Sorry for hijacking paul

Hehe, yeah, that's what I was referring too

The Smallcar shift kit is adjustable to your preference. If you find the shifts to soft/slow then the shift kit will help. If, however, your clutches/band brake are wearing out this is only going to hide the problem until your tranny completely fails.

The 2nd/3rd shift is a little delayed. This can be that the brake band needs adjusting. Unplugging the resistor will increase the throttle pressure to cover it up, but adjusting the band will fix the delay and save it from leter problems.

Harvey.
