Has anyone had theirs replaced before. Seems that mine has gone bad and i need to have one side replaced. Where do i get them from?! How about could i have it done in my driveway or do you need a lift to do it?
Thanks in advance |

subaru sells them, i made some all metal mounts for my car, and it can be done in the drive way, just need jack, jack stands, 2x4, small one, and the tools. it's pretty straight forward. take the nut off on the subframe, jack motor up, take the rest of the mount off the motor, replace, lower motor, put nuts back on.

It can be a bit more difficult than that. The rear bolt to the engine can be a pain to get to. Plus disconnecting the O2 sensor wires and removing the exhaust from the manifolds will help immensely in jacking the engine up high enough to remove/replace the mounts. Another good idea is to remove a bolt from the torque strut.
