its kind of upsetting that their awd system is so poor. i wouldn't call it awd. false advertisement all those rich soccor moms driveing around wth a flase sence of security.

That's amazing. I'd be interested in two things:

1. What makes the Volvo system inferior in those conditions.

2. Tests in other conditions to see what, if anything, the Volvo excels in.

For the most part you see the Volvo sitting still. Can it not transfer enough torque to the rear? Is there a traction control system keeping the fronts from spinning too much?

You can hear it revving halfway up the band as well. I think it just doesn't know what to do.
