Desirable but ugly cars

There have been lots of threads about good looking cars, and riced out cars, etc. but I don't remember one with cars that are very desirable (to the average gear head anyway) - just ugly. Of course beauty is in the eye of the beholder - so here's a chance to offend - in a well meaning way of course .

so to start here's my short, and not well thought out, list

1st gen Dodge viper (getting better, but still not there yet), upper end BMW series
(like the new M5), Mazda RX-8

I used to think the WS.6 was ugly. Now I think it's one of the best looking cars there is.

Hmmm, I actually really like the way that the RX-8 looks now... I didn't like it at first, but after seeing one drive around here on base for the past month, I have to say..... I really like the way that the blue ones look... Something about them... Now if only they were "Force Fed"

I saw a Impala Wagon the other day. Somewhere in the '60s MY. It was one of the ones with the big tail fins. It was so ugly it looked EVIL. I want one. It was interesting how the made the huge fins from the regular car fit onto the wagon.

Definately not pretty
Still cool as hell and I'd still love to have one (and even plan on it one day)

I happen to feel the DeLorean is one of the most attractive vehicles on the road...

The razor-sharp lines of it just scream style....

As a former owner it pained me that I couldn't get another after mine was totalled when parked by a drunk with no insurance...

But... I have an SVX now, so it's all good...
