Announcing the new Northwest SVX Leadership Committee!
I am pleased to announce that I have "persuaded" a few reliable long term members to help me in the leadership of Northwest SVX.
Rather than have a political structure with a president, vp's, elections, etc, I have opted to just have a volunteer committee to help run the club and make major decisions. I choose the first 3 members based on their past enthusiasm and experience, and all three accepted the call: Your new Northwest SVX Leadership Committee is: MacGyver Ensteele Seasvx Manofmayo As soon as the positions were accepted at our meeting last night, the committee went right to work with decision making and agreed to extend the responsibilities even farther - All future Northwest SVX "behind the scenes" club meetings will be open to all members who wish to attend. Everyone who attends will have an equal say in things and any issues will be resolved democraticly. Additionally, anyone who is interested in becoming part of the leadership committee may do so, likewise someone can resign at any time as well. The only difference to being on the leadership committee is that committee members would be expected to attend most club business meetings, and may be involved in a few email discussions from time to time that others are not. We will probably hold meetings at least once every couple months, at someone's house or a restaurant , most likely around the Puget Sound area and possibly on weeknights. Since they are open forum we will try to announce them at least a week ahead so anyone interested can make plans to attend. Hope to see lots of you get involved in this fast growing group! We have a lot of good people among us and lot of hidden talents out there. Thanks for your time, now get back to SVXn'!  PS One other thing, we decided that Ensteele and MacGyver will both oversee the finances for the club and keep each other accountable.

Yup, I've heard.
 We are actually going to try to have another meeting really soon about that particular subject, I'll be sure to include you in the scheduling so you can be there.
