Exclamation I need a SVX Service Manual.

I was wondering if anyone had a 92 SVX Service Manual in pdf form or one they do not need anymore, i just do not want to pay $ 172.67 bucks from Subaruparts.com for one.

My Screen Name ON A.I.M is Sunstreaker67, or e-mail at Robzombie@insightbb.com

I'm going to be totally honest with you - the service manual is well worth the money you'll pay for one. Used sets are probably going to be really hard to come by. And, while individual pages have been scanned and shared, I have yet to see somebody go through the trouble of scanning the entire FSM set to share.

Really, I'd buy a set. It'll save you so much frustration, time and broken parts that it'll pay for itself immediately.

Alternately, there's a Chilton's manual available at most parts stores. It's no a great sutstitute, but there's enough info in there to change the timing belt, for instance. I think it actually goes through engine overhaul in pretty good detail. Ironic, considering that the engine internals will probably be the last thing to fail on this car.

You can get them a little cheaper than that on ebay, but cheapest I have seen a set go for is around 120.

So far no one that I know of has scanned them, but Reaper did post the pdf of the service manual cd - http://reaper450128.homeftp.net/servicecd.htm
It is a little more general than the factory service manuals, but it is good.

I'll move this to the wanted/for sale forum, but I think you will have a hard time finding someone who is willing to sell theirs.
