Fine, be pissed and hostile, but there is no way in hell an SVX would beat an SRT4. Maybe you were ahead for like 50 ft, but thats about it.

The way you wrote it, it seemed like you were trying to say you 'smoked' it. :|

I could smoke an SRT4... in the rain. Heh.

the part of highway im talking about is like a dead end. there is an offramp before it and your not supposed to go there. its not used much so it gets dusty. it might have been slightly wet. i cant remember. i dont think it rained that day but who knows. it was like a month ago.
dont forget that guys engine was backfiring horribly.....

let me reiterate i dont admit to being faster than, or winning against an srt.

i once raced a wrx in my auto xt6. they are equal off the line. my xt6 smashes my svx off the line.

i once burned out all of first gear in 2wd mode, and found that i do run faster. this was against an SE-R, AND it was caught on tape. i also know its not good to do so i dont do it anymore.

as for pics just check my locker and my profile says everything ive done. if you want proof of something special ill provide that upon request. as for the time slip, i am supposed to be heading to the track on saturday to go head to head against 155mphguy's prelude, and hopefully the se-r again.

im not making any promises. sometimes my X runs like shiz. sometimes it pulls power out of its ass.

forgive me if i seem hostile but i cannot endure being labeled as anything other than truthful.
Oooo... you got it on tape? Can you upload it? I always like to see races. I'm not saying you're untruthful... just want to see some evidence... like a scan of your upcoming timeslip would be great. How do you like those iridium plugs? I haven't put mine in yet.

i love my iridium plugs. they are way better than the copper ones that were in there (????). i felt the difference.

im not sure if i can upload my race with the se-r cuz the camera belonged to my friend who left for the navy not too long ago. ill have to check with his brothers, one of whom should be going with me to the track saturday (if hes not a lazy bastard (no offense lazybastard if your reading this ))

well have to see in about 30 minutes. ill head over there.

i have a scanner so the timeslip will be no prob. i also want to get it dyno'd. im expecting 160 to the wheels.

Don't you hate that? I wish you could hook a laptop up to a 92 and figure out why it jumps off the line sometimes and then disappoints other times. I bet a good computer programmer could make them more consistently fast.

I still find it hard to believe that some people find it hard to believe that some SVXs are significantly faster than others. Hell, even YOUR SVX is faster than YOUR SVX sometimes.

Also remember Alaska's a lot cooler of a climate. Maybe that contributes to his engine performance?

It would contribute more to a turbo engines performance. Heat hurts turbo cars more than NA cars, so that can't be it.

You should have had platinum or platinum tipped plugs before (I think). I had to get in on a group buy to get those iridium ones... where'd you get yours?

That'd be sweet if you could get the race uploaded... have somplace where it could be hosted? You realize that I WANT you to get a 14 second timeslip, right? I'm rooting for it... it would be great to see. You have an AWD dyno near you?

Don't you hate it when your friends ship out for the Navy?

Stephen, it is because usually a certain car won't have that big of a variance in how fast they are off the production floor. A slow would could run a 16.1 and a fast one a 15.5 seconds in the quarter. A gap of a whole second is relatively rare (I believe). Plus, inconsistencies are seen much more on forced induction vehicles than N/A ones (it seems). That, and the fact that testers (like auto magazines) get VERY optimistic times that are basically never realized by "in the real world," and the best they have claimed was something like a 15.2-15.4 (I think, not sure about the 15.2).

BTW, my SVX will be MUCH faster than my SVX... as soon as I get a working tranny in it.

edit: Have you decided on a repaint color yet?

it was around 65 degrees 11:30pm that 'day'. its bright up here in the summer. i remember cuz got pulled over for having my parking lights on 20 mins earlier. is that illegal anywhere else?

the plugs i pulled out were copperish and had only a single stripe. dont platinums have 2? i got my iriduims from dayle.

i think we have to have a 4w dyno somewhere.

as for the video IF it can be uploaded to digital media im not sure where to host. if not ill have to take digi shots of it frame by frame.... : \

as for a paint job i wanted silver with a black top, but then i saw the UK grey. MAN is that the most beautiful grey on a vehicle ive ever seen.
check the uk forum if you wanna see it.
