You mean they're not on your screen? They are on mine. Of course, I can't scroll. It messes up the alignment of the crayon marks I placed over the original color.

Thumbs up Color

I posted my new(to me) Laguna Blue 94, but now how do I post my other one the Black over Pearl 92 LS Tour? Of course I like all the colors, but probally the blue best, ah heck, maybe I can get one of all the colors when I win the Powerball this Sat. (120 million)

Question

Where is yellow?

I can't see it on the list...and I can't even be a smarty pants and keep typing yellow in yellow since it does'nt appear on the Font selection!

Has it been deleted? Do I see Randy scurrying away, cackling to himself and delighted with his handiwork???

I have a Bordeaux Pearl '97 LSi.
The color is redder and lighter than the Claret/Black tw0tones. Also, one of the "Greens" is actually teal, while the other is very close to emerald green.

BTW: I like the Pearlie Whites the best.

PS: I think you should have had a separate category for "D-jay Yellow", rather than lumping it into "Other".

my friends consistently tease me over my "purple" car, but I argue till the end that it isn't purple. It is in fact Black over claret. End of subject

Anyone intersting in trading for an ebony black? I'm dead serious. I absolutely despise the color. While pretty when it's kept clean, it's an absolute pain to take care of.

Thumbs down black... sorta

yeah... the first owner of my car definatly took the beautiful black mica car into maaco and had them kill it... now it kinda looks like crap especially the bumper because the paint is coming off in strips. too bad i don't have the extra 2-3k lying around to get some decent paint on it oh well..(i'm getting some pics soon... its all stock except some 17's by PCW.. hoping to eventually have enough $$ to do some nice stuff with it... some day...

Hey, Don!

Glad you finally made your way over here. How can there be so many svx's in our little town of 3 traffic lights?!

Color

GO BLACK, GO!
While Black is the hardest to keep looking nice, I think it is also the meanest, coolest, and most evil looking color on an SVX. It intimidates more people and draws more looks I think. It just looks more exotic to me in Black.

Black'n Blue'n Red all over

I like black. You mica boys can stick yore chests out!!

Given a choice, I would prefer black black. I mean what the car paint guys around here call "solid" black, as opposed to metallic or pearlescent black. I mean, in geological terms, mica is a load of schist.

Cleaned up shiny black looks so good, it's probably illegal. From my own experience, it is the most difficult to keep clean. One rain shower and short run, it's dirty. Real dry weather, any dust raised will cling to it. Supermarket door dings stick out when you shine it. Too aggressive polishing will show up in rings and swirls.

Notwithstanding all that[phew, long word, eh?] black is the most kickass colour out there. It's all about shapes and highlights and curves, plays to the SVX strong suit.

And black over claret is the best black combo!!

Joe
