When I went through dive class in CT at Groton we had two Recon in the class. (do they still have dive school there?) They wouldn't let us play with the Jarheads most of the time... although I played first base on their softball team... while I was in DS and My boat was on deployment (SSN 571) it's the museum now.... (i'm old...)
And I'd love to see an ET swing a sun line with a sextent....

nope the only place left for dive school is Panama City, oh yeah i went during spring break, it was horrible.

there is still a QMOW station but no QM's in the Submarine Navy.

QM's were a valuable part of Sub duty... (Who are the YM’s going to kid about not having a real job?) Tell me they got rid of the TM's! A US sub hasn't fired a torpedo in anger for over 50 years!

TM's are now combined with MM's, no torpedos fired in anger, but pleanty for fun, and who do you think loads the tomahawks?
Last I heard they were making Sonar Teschs (subs) and FireControl Techs into Combat System Techs.
