Alternator Plug
After replacing my knock sensors I noticed the plug and wires on my alternator are toast. where can I get a new plug with a pig tail on it other then the dealer?

Hijacking this thread
I de-pined my Alternator plug to repair It I dont know, if i got the wire switched so would someone tell me when looking down at ur alternator plug wire is the white wire on top or the bottom? thanks

that looks just like mine, same spot and everything where the exposed wire is.
i de-pined it too put some heat shrink tubing on it. looks like smaller wire is on top and the bigger white wire is on the bottom. then i have it wired wrong, hope I didn't fry the alt. Last edited by kjoyes; 04-13-2013 at 05:57 PM.

When you buy a new alternator plug, it comes with two 4" wires already attached. They are both the same size (about the same diameter as the smaller wire) and the colors are blue and brown.
