Brake issues continuted... left lockup
I had to replace my right brake pad, as it went metal to metal. I had assumed it was a frozen caliper, and I installed new calipers, new pads, and new rotors.
Went out for a drive, and the rotor cherry'd smoked, and flamed..... not good. my rear brakes were also extremly hot and about to smoke. For some reason I feel that my car is applying the right side brakes, when no foot is on the floor, Now, i wonder if the car had ruined my first set of pads, and that nothing was wrong. has anyone had this happen, I really need my car, its been jack standed for three weeks. and I am loosing paitents with my beloved svx....... clarification, It looks them with my foot off of the brake.

I would bite the bullet and bring it to a brake shop. This is way too important to risk your life. Have it done right and enjoy it.

Re: Brake issues continuted... left lockup
yes, I could take it to a shop and thank you for the concern., I just know it was assembled correctly,
Im trying to find others with similar occurrences before I let a brake shop shred my poor car.
