Re: softer suspension on an impreza
If you want a better ride, I might suggest trying the smallest diamiter rims that fit over the brakes wrapped in something like Michelin Hydroedge. Tall squishy allseasons provide nice ride quality in most cases. Don't cheap out on tires though as good tires produce good driving cars.
Once you get into the actual suspension, this may seem counter intuitive, but a stiffer suspension can provide a much better ride than a soft one. Soft suspensions can often have issues with poor body control, and frequent usage of the bumpstop. Hitting the bumpstop provides a massive and sharp raise in the stiffness. This thus produces large sharp impacts to the body. |

Re: softer suspension on an impreza
See if you could put the stock SVX springs in it

Re: softer suspension on an impreza
the car is stock and running regular 16's the one rear suspension is shot so i'm redoing the rear and i thought i'd look into redoing all 4 with softer suspension so you dont feel the bumps as much, keep in mind this car is for my parents, i still have my svx
