Merry Christmas, Happy Holidays and a big thank you to everyone.
I just wanted to thank everyone for all their help and the very educational discussions. I was spoiled by my 1997 Outback and have been surprised by the challenges that have come along with owning an SVX. Maybe I got rid of my Outback just in time and would have had the same challenges but I have to say that my old green tank was the best car I have ever owned. But this damn SVX is growing on me and so I will keep up the efforts in hopes that my leaks, squeaks, squonks and rattles will become fewer and farther between with time. It would have been much more stressful without this group and I hope you will all continue to humor me in the future. With some luck I will get a chance to go to Reading this year. With more luck, I will never have to visit West Virginia for a major repair!!!

Good luck with your SVX - I run my Pearly really hard at autocross and the track, and it has served me very well. The engine has 116K miles on it and the car has 139K miles. Still going strong!! Never has a minutes trouble with my '97 with 76K miles ......
