What year does OBD2 start 95 or 96?

I know for Legacy's it was in 1995, how about for SVX's.

I do believe OBDII started in all vehicles in 1995. Correct me if I'm wrong though.

and 95 Legacy's... My old 95 was OBDII but the SVX didn't get it till it was Nationally mandated to have it in all 96 vehicles

I have #1178 of roughly 1200 in '95, and mine is OBDI.

Some cars actually split the model year on when to change to OBDII. The Ford Probe, is one example. Early 95's are OBDI and late 95's are OBDII. Why they would do that is beyond me though...

96 Honda Accords are OBDI, since Honda was changing the body style in 1997, it was cheaper for them to pay the $1,000 fine per vehicle (and jack the price up $1,000) than to redesign the engine management system.
