No fuel?
Basically one morning I drove my car for a while, all was fine, I come home, it sat for maybe 1 hour give or take, and I went to start it and nothing.... it turns and acts like it wants to but does not start. The fuel pump was not making any noise indicating it was trying to send fuel so we assumed it was just a bad fuel pump.
Today we replaced the fuel pump, and if you take the hose off at the pump it will shoot out fuel with the new pump. But if you take off the hose right before the fuel filter it will not. There is no gas pouring out on the ground anywhere under the car to indicate a break in the line anywhere. Has anyone ever ran across this problem? Any ideas??

whoops... a fuel pump not kicking on does not indicate it is not working.
did you pull both rubber lines off hard lines running under the intake? they could have been replaced incorrectly at some point
