Manual Mode?
Hi. My light for the Manual Mode does not light up so I don't know if I am driving around in the manual mode or the normal mode. Which way is the button supposed to be when in the normal driving mode? Should it be pushed in, or should it be sticking out? Any way easy way to check the bulb? Is it possible my manual mode is not working?

Out is the "normal" off position.
To test if Manual mode works, put the selector in "2" and the manual switch off (out) and accelerate from a stop. You should start in 1st and shift to 2nd then 3rd... Next, again at a stop with the selector in "2", this time push the manual button on, again accelerate from a stop. You should start in 2nd and remain in 2nd until redline. If you have the selector in "3" and the manual button on, you will start in 2nd, then shift normally to 3rd and stay in 3rd till redline.

Ok I tested the manual mode and it does work. But how can I change the bulb? Is it a pain in the a..? Is there an easy way to get to those bulbs to replace them?

Nope...
You need to remove the woodgrain surround that is around the cluster. There are a few screws around that hold it, also the cruise/fog switch cluster and the rear defrost/hazard switch cluster need to come out. Once the surround is out, there are 6 (?) screws holding the cluster in place. Once you find and remove the screws, pull it straight out. All of the electrical connections are made by plugging the cluster into the dash, so you don't have to worry about undoing any harnesses. I think that's about it, be gentle and look for hidden screws. While you have it out, check all your other bulbs. I also recommend swapping the "D" light for the "1" or "2" on the shifter indicator. Figure that the "D" light has been burning for most of the miles on your car, if it hasn't burned out yet, it will soon.

That don't sound too easy. I don't have a woodgrain but I think I know what you are talking about. Might be easy if you do it a few times.

Ok, in my instructions replace "woodgrain" with "grey plastic" It's not too hard, just a hassle, so make sure you replace all the bulbs that you need to.
