Yeah
I finally got my friend to race me in his '93 Grand Am GT. He has nothing done to it but a K&N airfilter. We raced from a stand still. He got me off the line but then i started to catch him and finally started to pull away. I think that it was kinda even. I will give that Pontiac credit cause i seriously thought that I was going to tear it up.

How far did you race? 1/4 mile or more?

umm i think that it was about a 1/4 mile give or take...i let off at about 95 and i had it pretty good. we raced again and that time i used manual and i completely walked away from him, but he was trying to start in "1" but missed "2" and went to drive. The SVX is far more powerful in the upper speed ranges. The Grand Am GT lost it about 85 after that it didn't have a lot of power like the SVX. They both are 3.3L for the record.

Why do you ask? But it is fine, infact i just had the tranny flushed about 2000 miles ago?
