Ratrap = Rat Trap, the plate was on my 69 Cougar
Eliminator conv. So the car being a Cougar it was cool
Cats eat Rats, and chevy use to call their sm block
motors mouse motors and their bb motors, rats....
hence the name "ratrap"

Since sold the cougar so transferred the plates
to my 70 boss mustang

The story goes like this, me and my step-dad were getting the plates for my car and when the lady handed me my plates he says "hey, 012-fjp, that'll be easy to remember, 012- f*** japan", sucks that it just happens to be on a japanese car.

Dayle, I figured it was rat trap, but didnt know the history behind it.
