Buy one already, and until you do, stop bragging about cars you don't own.

Porsche's are nice, but how many threads do you need to create on this SUBARU forum, honestly?

Condense.

I still own one Subaru. I still talk about my ex-SVX on Rennlist. And Chike had 5 threads on everything from Mazdas to Volvos. This one is THE one. The owner and I have exchanged messages for awhile and said it's mine when the time is right. If I could get the wife's approval right now, I'd have it already. I just bought a house in February and she wants me to wait a bit as she isn't working right now as we lost our childcare for my 4 year old. When she goes to 1st grade in September 2008 she is going back to work. I am already working on a plan to get the car a year early. And this is the Not Exactly SVX forum. The black 951 was a nice car, but things conspired against it. The yellow one was a mistake and I quickly killed that off. This is the car I should have tried for from the beginning. But thanks for your concearn.

2nd 2.000
3rd 1.435
4th 1.111
5th 0.912
6th 0.778

Axel ratio: 3.778

I definitely have a bunch from different makes of cars. However, you probably have the record for the same make of car! Either way, we're enthusiasts and lusting after performance cars has been in our blood since we were kids...

Sweet. I definitely like the proportions of the 968 better than the 951. You mentioned the car has a new clutch, so you should at least take one trip to the strip to see what she'll run after you get her.

Hey Dan, can you make the meet in Cumberland, MD on Saturday July 29th? I'll be autoXing and you can definitely catch a ride with me on one of my runs.

And while I loved my SVX, Tom can attest after a ride in the 928, that there is somthing special about a Porsche. My 94 LSi stickered for around $32k, the 93 968 was around $55k. They are fairly similar in a way. The SVX has a 3.3L F-6 that made 230hp and 228lb/ft. The 968 has a 3.0L I-4 that made 236hp and 225 lb/ft. The LSi was AWD and weighs around 3400lbs. The 968 with a 6 speed weighs 3015lbs. (The 93 I'm looking at has a new exhaust -40 pounds).

Once/if you get the 968, here's a way you can make some cash

That was on Rennlist as well as 968.net and 968forums. I just got an offer to trade my Pathfinder for the 928 S I had at Reading. Probably going to pass on that one. Still need at least one practical vehicle for me for when the wife is out.
