5spd, slipping clutch :(

I searched and couldnt find a defintive answer, i just installed a new clutch in my 5spd awd. Its called "perfection clutch" made by zoom, its an oem style, not a performance upgrade that i had bought from advanced auto. Anyhow, its slips

Question i have is, i have a 91 legacy non turbo awd 5spd in it, cable clutch. im looking for a performance clutch....will the TURBO legacy from that year range work on this flywheel/tranny set-up? I looked online and only see performace clutchs for the turbo legacy. also, which is the best rated one here?! please advise, thanks to all!!

It should, so long as the clutch can enable fowards and backwards cleanly. I'd say get one and put it on against the tranny and against the flywheel, and see the fitment.

no, the turbo legacy clutch is a pull type while the non-turbo is a push type. Your best bet would be to invest in a spec stage II kevlar clutch. I had it in my old 5mt and it only began to slip once I was making much more power over stock

Used a Clutchmasters FX200 on the 92 Legacy tranny I put in the 92 SVX I did. I believe it chatters a little, but there was no slipping.
