Definately a funny show... Maybe someday it will get picked up down here so we don't have to wait for the DVD release????

You mentioned that everyone in the show has similarities to people you know... I'm guessing that you're Brent???

Yea, I guess I'd be Brent. Like I mentioned, the show is a good representation of what it's like here in rural Saskatchewan. All us here seem to know somebody that is just like all those characters. Once you get out of the lager cities, small towns are really funny and full of characters.

The show started last year and really took off on CTV here (a Canadian national network), season two has just finished and I'll get you guys a copy of the DVD when it comes out.

Ya know what, the next nice weekend, I'm going to take one of my SVXs for a drive down to Dog River (about 1/2 hour from here) and I'll take a pic for you if front of the gas station & grain elevator.

For those of you who have no idea what we're talking about, when Hocrest and Subbyre89 were so kind as to pick me up and take me to pick up my 93 AE, I left them a copy of the first season of a TV series called "Corner Gas." It's filmed here in Saskatchewan Check out www.cornergas.com

I drove through Saskatchewan last Christmas. I didn't really stop as I was going through to Alberta.

I can't believe how many little towns there are.

Actually, they're all little (sort of). If you stop with your SVX to get gas, you'll be the talk of the coffee shop for weeks.

The 'Worlds Biggest Hoe" was there last year, if it's still there I'll get a pic for you.

Yea, thats what it's like. The nice thing is that when you want to get away from it all, you can be out of town and on the open road in about 10 minutes. And, being so flat you can let your car stretch her legs. That's when you realize what a great GT car these are.

Every time I have driven through Montana, I can't keep the smile off my face. Flat, straight roads where you can do the same. The car really strarts to shine when you get to 80 mph and above.
