Welcome to the site quikone. Just changing a 4EAT is not that difficult. Installing a 5spd is another story.
Let us know how your brake upgrade goes.

Sorry about the late reply. My wife and I had a baby on the 7th of Feb. Been a little busy.
There have been a little trouble with my trany swap. the car was not acting right. I talked to the dealer and on his advise I checked my timing. what I found was nothing short of horrible. It seams that when I did my timing belt last year we removed one of the cam gears. We forgot to put a washer on the bolt. It sound minnor but it is not. Cam trouble I snapped the cam bolt trying to get it off. There was about .100 slop with out the washer. It caused a vibration and overheating of the bolt. the bolt was fused in the cam. I now have a dead engine. Working getting to fix. This will fix the following problems. 1. Poor gas milage. 2. low idle. 3. poor acceleration. 4. shuttering under acceration 5. poor shifts. 6. Left O2 sensor code all the time. I hope to have the car up and running in a week. Steve
