This is to ALL SVXers that are NY Yankee Fans especially Pete,

A-rod's coming to "Da Stadium."
The Post is saying that it's the best move since the Babe.

I sure hope he can play 3rd base and Enrique Wilson can play 2nd. Giambi at 1st is certainly no gold glove, more like lead.
If these guys can't field well that leaves only Jetter to cover the whole infield. He's terrific but he's not superman.

I also think that Soriano will eventually be a Yankee again. I feel kind of sorry for him. He's been in Steinbrenner's doghouse for a long time.
I also know that great pitching stops great hitting (look at the '64 WS). So the Yankees better get some left handed pitching.

Saturday afternoon I watched the 2-DVD set of the 100 year history of the NY Yankees. I have been on cloud nine since.


PS: Note to uprnygmp. I notice that you live in the Bronx. I sure hope that you're a Yankee fan.

I've been reading all and every article concerning the trade... and it definitely looks like it's going to happen. I like Soriano, but he isn't that consistent. A lot of pressure is going to be put on the team, and individuals if they don't win now, but when is there not any pressure? The Boss is going to be vicious this year I think.

This means we will be seeing A-Rod holding up his new jersey in New York tomorrow!
