92 Legacy Turbo Sedan Pricing

Well my mom just had her 92 Turbo in for the 75j service and they wrecked it . There is a big reason I'm laughing. They gave her a loaner while they fixed the scrape on the rear bumper cover. She has now decided that she is in the market as her car is now 12 years old.

Here is why I'm smiling. I will be getting this car as I've been asking for it for 7 years now. Problem is how much is it worth. I'm guessing the dealer will offer $1500-2000 for it. It isn't perfect (some paint fade on the spoiler and scoop, a little rust bubble on the front fender and peeling paint of the black pillar covers) but is a low mile gem that was babied and serviced all its life. Only neg I see is it is an auto but... What do you think is a fair price for her?

I think you should sell it to me for a thousand bux.....lol.....

But seriously.....based on what I've seen these things go for i'd say maybe between 2500 and 3200. With that kinda mileage I think it'd be worth it. Then again, I don't have that much lying around after my huge repair bill.....lol....so don't listen to me.

That's the price range I was thinking but I told her all along I'll give her what the dealer offers plus some so. Just trying to get an idea. I'm hoping she'll take her time shopping. I told her that the best deals will be around June/July when the 05s appear. I'm kinda broker than broke at the moment.

Well I paid $6,500 for my 91 with 150K 4 years ago. Not a good example.

Yes I did and the car is still in really good shape, except for the lack of drivetrain. But thats where the 2.4L stroker and strait cut gear set come in.

wow....so the $600 that I paid for mine was a great deal then......Even with the repair bill and new tires I'm still at less than half that amount. Thanks Subafreak now I don't feel so bad now......you've just made my day!!
