Randy,
Perhaps it got rubber stamped in all these witty exchanges, but did you catch my post about emailing Jeff at the other Holiday Inn? I think a few emails thanking him for his kindness would be a nice gesture....whatcha think? Don

Reminds me of a very sick joke. The leper says to the prostitute, "you can keep the tip."

Obviously, it couldn't hurt. Why don't you post his e-mail address.

BTW, how were the accommodations? The possibility of moving the meet there next year is on the table. Some had mentioned moving the meet to the 2nd instead of the 1st weekend in April, also. We shall see.

I didn't check the place out too much; it looked like a typical motel. The dining room seem much smaller, and there wasn't a furniture mall attached....Ron and I would certainly miss the discussions about the merits of a Wooten Desk... Don

Yes, Don, I agree that a Wooton desk is far more attractive than a Meddle one.

Women had Hoosiers, why should a man not have a Wooton? Hey, Wooton it be wonderful if you guys had some class to sport (other than the SVX) when you go to Indiana? Check out this page, especially if going to Indiana:

Since we started this thread discussing motels/hotels; please read below:

How do you know when you're staying in a Kentucky hotel?
When you call the front desk and say, "I gotta leak in my sink",
and the front desk replies, "Go ahead".

Appologies to my favorite SVX Kentuckian.

But y'all "oughta" hear the one about West Va.

Oops....!

I guess its WOOTON...not Wooten. Sorry! The one Ron and I saw was a real steal....just a few thousand dollars. One cool piece.

Now about those West Virginia jokes Larry....remember, YOU have a home state too!

Don,

I posted some jokes on WV in the Snowshoe 2 thread.
I will always consider myself a "New Yorker".
You can take the boy out of the city, but you can't take the city out of the boy.

Larry III
PS: I have a whole slew of NJ jokes.

While on the covered bridge tour our group became separated for a while and, while waiting for Larry iii to rendevous with us I was fortunate enough to be able to take a photograph of one of the more affluent Amish landowner's vehicle

Probably the only one horsepower single exhaust SVX in existance
