Good find Ed. They really didn't get it in that article. Timing is everything.

Re: Anybody see this article

Good article. the part about the SVX...eh, I can't really argue it. I love the car, but I know it's not for everyone. (like those who would rather go buy a $500 Civic with a quarter million miles and beat on it for a further 15 years without once changing the oil)

It's the only "good" car in that article, it would seem.

Re: Anybody see this article

My immediate reaction: He is a flopper!

/me would not be friends with Phil Leitz....

The language used to describe the SVX is not deserving. That dude probably drives a Miata.

Re: Anybody see this article

I hold the same viewpoint as another magazine article, which stated that it was simply sold at the entirely wrong time.

Someone posted a couple months ago with the prices of all years/models for US with inflation calculated.

Re: Anybody see this article

If there's ever to be any semblance of a collectors' market for these cars, publicity is the only hope. Let 'em keep publishing lukewarm reviews...

Re: Anybody see this article

I saw a super chick flick with a friend called Fireproof. We were both bored, cause believe me, I wouldve dipped in 10 minutes. Anywho, there was an SVX in it for like 14 seconds, lol.

Re: Anybody see this article

First off- the wheels on the top car are backwards. Switch 'em around and it might have changed the whole article!

Second- All he can really come up with to bash the SVX is the windows. OK, so the windows are different. You talk about a vehicle that's "highly evolved" with "sweeping lines," and all you can come up with for it being a horrible flop is the windows? Sheesh.

For the record, I think the SVX windows are awesome! Definitely a design plus, and they look great! Why are so many people turned off by things just because they're different? People suck.
