Besides..this is my crazy project :P Not sure I want to spend ~$12k for batteries, motor, controllers, charger, etc.. on my $4k SVX though...

It does kinda look like it might work without too much surgery.

This video series is a big inspiration. It's a Porsche Boxster conversion

The $ is never going to make sense. Hell I have a lot more putting this rig together and its a dinosaur comparatively. It all depends on what you want out of it. Unless you really go all in, it's not going to be a daily driver. You will have it more as an obscurity. I mean the rest of the supporting parts for the vehicle are non-existent so it will be a never ending jam session of fabrication and "making it work" that I am running into as well. Even after spending a year and a half putting this together I have still got this for my punch list

-Bulkhead for rear/trunk
- Parking brake handle mounting and cable fab
- Overflow tank mounting and routing
-Fuel vent filter install
- Indicator lights and wiring
- Alignment
- Hood (figure something out already)
- Fender flares
- Body work
- Dyno tuning
- Tires
- Enclosed trailer for storage and transport
- Defrost kit
- A/C system design and install

This list will never end but that's just things actively on my mind

Tom
