Re: Lsvx-t

Making a little more progress. I've got the mid pipe done. I will definitely be installing mufflers. Now to find some that will fit. Tried to tuck it as much as possible. Not so easy with a 3.5" pipe.

Re: Lsvx-t

Got some mufflers in the bad machine and dang it's almost too quiet now! Took it down the street for a quick jaunt and found LOADS of work to do tuning wise. Still struggling with a failure to start when hot. Thought I had it licked, but there is more to figure out in that dept. I did finally make a switch panel and wire up my power window switches so that's a plus. Was also able to remove my fuel cell and weld up a leak. It wasn't worth sending it back and waiting for a new one. Pics of the muffler pack

Tom-
Do you have any pictures of the rear end area w/ the factory subframe removed? And/or pictures of the SVX subframe. I'm getting some crazy ideas of my own lately.....thanks.

Hmm.. wonder how this would fit..?

Either with or without the suspension portions attached.

Re: Lsvx-t

Send me the car and the drive unit. I'll get it in there lol. Looks like a similar swap to the 350z subframe. Just get rid of the coil springs and use a full coilover in lieu of the shocks with svx top hats like I did

Re: Lsvx-t

I don't have the stuff yet, so I can't send it anywhere..

Besides..this is my crazy project :P Not sure I want to spend ~$12k for batteries, motor, controllers, charger, etc.. on my $4k SVX though...

It does kinda look like it might work without too much surgery.

This video series is a big inspiration. It's a Porsche Boxster conversion
