heated seats?

I've been doing a lot of looking at parts schematics recently and noticed heaters for the front seats. I have a 94 lsi and if the seats are heated i sure don't know where the button is. This was an option i take it? Where do they put the button? I want heated seats!

look at the pretty svx http://www.emerystudios.com/images/svxathome.jpg

Heated seats are not offered in the US. The wiring is there on both sides of the seats for all controls but the butt warmers pads are not included in the US market SVXes.

Canadians on the other hand had them.

Buttons

The heated button are where your coin holder is! If you don't where that is, it is right of where you place the key to start your car

So the controls go on the sides of the seats? I'm seriously interested in this retrofit but the schematics for the seats are so hard to read. Were talking heating element, control switch, and new plastic trim panel with hole for control switch?

Exclamation Heated Seats

Look, if you did a search on this topic you would have known this topic has been discussed before. There are no switches on the side of your seat! The only switches for the heated seats are where the coin holder is suposed to be! ON & OFF! End of story. This is not rocket science. This is what was posted as far as part numbers goes:

83001PA200MD Seat Heater Switch B $82.87
64225PA020 Heater Unit F Cushio $301.90
64225PA030 Heater Unit F Backre $210.15
64225PA000 Heater Unit Rh $302.35
64225PA010 Heater Unit Rh $210.15
Subtotal: $1,107.41
Currently in stock
Usually ships in 4-10 business days
May be discontinued
* USA Ground Shipping - $110.74USA 2nd Day Air - $166.11USA Next day Air - $221.48USA Alaska/Hawaii Service - $221.48Canadian Shipping - $221.48International Shipping - $276.85

This list is from Subaruparts.com as of March 13, 2002, check their site to see if prices have changed. As for my car, I think I can live with out them, a little steep for my taste for my tush to get warm!

Well, yeah. But if he just did a search, he wouldn't get to meet such friendly, helpful people.

are your seats leather or cloth? Because, heated seats wont do jack squat if you have cloth seats. It'd be a waste of cash. Same thing goes for that "Auto Stick" gimmick you see now-adays. It doesnt do anything. Now if there was a way to be able to convert our svx's to be powered by methane. I'm all for it.

If by "Auto Stick" you mean Tiptronic, I'd tend to agree. But only because you have to remove your hand from the steering wheel to use it. If it were like the paddle shifters in the 555, or even the buttons in the Celica GT, then I'd be all for it. Those things are way too much fun.

If we did searches instead of posting we really wouldn't have anything to talk about as I'm pretty sure its all been discussed before. Besides are you saying you dn't like talking about the SVX?
