Clicking Sound (Left Front Wheel)

When driving at slow speeds, I get a clicking sound from the left front wheel. Its been there ever since we bought the car. It sounds almost exactly what it sounds like when you have a rock stuck in the tread of your tire (thats what I originally thought it was). If I'm not mistaken, it seems to go away after the car has been driven for a while.
Any ideas?

clicking

I had this problem too. It turned out to be a loose center cap on the wheel. At high speeds the quick rotations keep the cap in place but at low speeds it shifts positions as the wheel turns and "clicks" each time it does.

Soobaroo,

Check the center hub cap. First try to wiggle it. Next take it off, drive around slowly and see if the clicking sound is still there.

If it's the center cap, you can bend out the clips slightly to make it fit firmer. I had to do this.
