Correct! They R evidently or at least probably separate issues. The "stall" was only once.. followed by the inability to start! The start "pause" issue was wat I was talking about now.. .

Yes, I checked my pulley.. It is aluminum, so I guess it's one piece. R U referring to slip that wud result in slow or inadequate alternator rotation.. ??
My car starts 99.99% of the time.. so I don't know what these strange occurrences were.. ?? I still think there was some bizarre intermittent short.. ??
