They pull out onto mayor roads in front of people going the speed limit without ever accelerating. They drive at least 5 under on the highway in the fast lane without ever realizing there is a massive line of cars behind them. They fail to realize this despite being passed angrily by dozens of other cars. Indeed they fail to realize that there are any other people on the road at all. They come dangerously close to causing massive accidents, only to be saved by the diligence and attention of good drivers, without ever realizing anything happened at all. They believe that going slower than all the other cars makes them much much safer drivers, that people who change lanes are racing, that because that if they can hear the engine rev, it must be bad for the car. To assume that the person behind the wheel is stupid or retarded is a mistake; that implies that they are conscious.

end rant
I think you have it wrong...I bet you ment SUV/minivan drivers. I don't see any Corolla, Kia, and Hyundai drivers like that on my commute. Jagoffs in Tahoes and caravans are a different story.

Yea, my little list was clearly far too short. I'm really glad I'm gonna be getting a shorter commute in the next few weeks. Clearly mine has gotten to me.

Sorry about that, skimmed right over it. I drive a Hyundai everyday (my brothers) since my SVX is out of commission at the moment. I definitely drive the living p*ss out of it. But then again, it's not like the thing will coast at 60, your constantly on the throttle. So old ladies who are used to riding the brake would certainly tend to drive way too slow.

Re: Hypothesis: Hyundai Elantra drivers are complete f***tards

the other day I was behind one of these (while in my Corolla) and to put it nicely...I was screwed. We were going 10 under and waiting to go through intersections until there wasn't a car in sight.

I see a lot of lower middle class MILF's in Elantras around here so I make sure to always stop and take a look

Re: Hypothesis: Hyundai Elantra drivers are complete f***tards

there is nothing to get enthusiastic about while driving a Hyundai or econobox of the like. To people who own these, driving is just a part of their day, its not fun, its not even enjoyable, so they just bear with it.

It just different people like different things but mostly everyone has to drive somewhere sometime, so naturally not everyone is going to like it and therefor they just do what they have to.

For me, I would take every turn on the edge of my contact patch and every green light like a drag race if I could because I am one of those who really enjoys it... Hell I would love to touch on my top speed of 185mph but the thing is, there are too many people who would be traveling too slow and I would be putting a lot of people in danger. not to mention the po po... but they cannot catch me

Don't you mean your governed top speed of 154 or did you already do some work on that? Even at 185 I still think they'd notice your Oakley's there Jerseyboy.

You still thinking about going to the Merc event there this Sept? Let me know if you do. I'll need new tires for spring so might as well wear these down before the snows go on.

I never got up to a speed to test the gov. I am relatively certain this model is not regulated... Thinking of making the event

Of course Accent's are OK, as long as you disguise them as a Subaru.

Why the current Accent looks so much better than anything Subaru offers at this time.

Did you click the link? Apparently this guy thought the same thing, but he still wanted Subaru's blue paint and WRC decals. I particularly love the "roof mural of a dragon with celtic wings-looks fresh not gay"

Here's a link to the original Craigslist ad (while it lasts).

philadelphia.craigslist.org

This car takes "poser" to a whole new level.

which generation? most 2001-2006 models did not come with abs/tcs and they were a little squirrely in the rain. one of the reasons i traded my gt in.
