Red face Charging Issues

Hi all. When I start my 95 the voltage stays at 11.0-11.3 until i rev above 2000 and then runs 13-14.7 with no problems even at idle. I have checked everything I know and problem persists. The low voltage will remain until the engine revs once and then all is good. By the way I replaced batt with no change. Any ideas??

All voltage levels from the alternator are generated within the regular system inside the alternator itself.

Bottom line... If you don't have it, the alternator isn't doing it. Some people get them rebuilt. Not my cup of tea. I would suggest a replacement with a lifetime guarantee.
Good luck with your project,
Keith

Re: Charging Issues

Thanks for the input----was hoping maybe something external would be a factor.
