Second stop, MI

third stop WA

That is if, and only if things go according to plan. Red items are definite, I will update as plans progress.

If anyone else is interested in becomming a stop, let me know

Let the PNW group know when you get up there, maybe we can get a dinner arranged.

Re: Cross Country Feeler

Tom,

I've driven between Denver and Pittsburgh at least 9 times, counting each direction (all but once in an SVX). It can be done in about a day and a half, with a short night's sleep in between (if you start out before dawn and drive till late at night). So, considering the extra drive from NJ, and the incredible drive times it's rumored you make, I'm betting you could do it in less than 2 days. Definitely try to get past St. Louis on the first day, which shouldn't be a problem. It's a big trafficy mess to deal with in rush hour. You don't want to deal with that in the morning. Columbia, MO is the midpoint for me. I usually make it at least to Salina, KS by the end of the 1st day. There's only one toll road section on 70 after the PA turnpike, and that's the Kansas turnpike in eastern Kansas. The fare's really cheap though.

Re: Cross Country Feeler

I am still unsure of the route being taken...

As for those curious, I make good travel time because I drive mostly at night, when there is no one else on the road to slow me down

As far as I can see it, this is a definite that I will be making the trek. I am very excited to do it and October cannot seem to come soon enough.

I am not sure what the PNW group is Pacific North West??

Jeff, I will be going out to Shelfy's place... Prob be there for 4-7 days depending on how things go.

Tom

Yeah we will definitely try to schedule some type of meet with all the locals when you get up here.

You got it - PNW = Pacific North West. An acronym that's used around this area, I guess as opposed to the Atlantic North West?

Tom - I will PM you about a stop at my place. If Troy needs work done, and can't have the work done there, you could use my shop. I will let you know what I would like done to a couple of mine.

99% that I will be loading up the Forester. Needs a good leg stretch.

I will more than likely travel south after I have worn out my welcome in WA. I want to hit San Diego for a couple days and take a mini vacation.

Somehow I doubt that could ever happen. Earl is too nice a guy and he's always got SVX's for you to work on

You would have to sneak out in the middle of the night to get away.
