The Kenwood unit appears to only have a 2v preout, something to keep in mind if you are going to be running amps in your vehicle.

Re: Want - GPS/DVD/Radio/stereo that fits.

The reason the the Pioneer D3 is really one of the best ones is because of the non sliding face. We can not have a slide out screen or a flip out screen. The new F series is also really nice. It is a memory based nav with all of the bells and whistles the D3 has.

Not true I fitted a Jensen Flip out it just has to be in the bottom part of the dash thats all. And it works just fine ^^

Yeah we all could use a little barley finish.

Don't worry about it too much, I'm just being e-spoiled.

The coolest part of it besides the screen layout is that it uses the pulse tech. where you dont really need to touch the screen for it to react. unfortunately its a little on the expensive side, but hey why not go all out right?
Sorry, the IVA-W505 does NOT have the pulse touch, which is the only reason I didn't purchase that unit. I purchased the IVA-W205 with the Blackbird Navi, iPod interface, and XM radio installed. It's a beautiful unit, and the tracking on the Navi works great...

Here's a pic after coming home from Southern California:

Re: Want - GPS/DVD/Radio/stereo that fits.

Now that is the kind of function I'd love to have. Does the avic d3 have all that?

Looks cool, Roo.

There is more information on the bottom of that screen than you would want your friendly Highway Patrol officer seeing if one stops you for a chat!

Nice going.
