"You'll never have to worry about your bearings again."
Is what the service advisor at Lancaster County Motors Subaru told me this evening when I picked up my car, and went $1100 more into debt. Pictures and scans are in my locker under the 'hub/bearing' folder. Enjoy.

Re: "You'll never have to worry about your bearings again."
They didn't replace the hubs (part number 28052PA010)?
When mine were last done (under warranty), they replaced hubs also. They also only charged 3.4 hrs labor for both sides (though the labor under warranty is always a lot less in both time and rate). Quote:

Mine's at the dealer for a few days & a few things, one of which is a rear bearing & hub. My quote was $482.00 with a one year warranty & unlimited mileage. Such is life.
Ron.

On the bright side, that's a LIFETIME warranty, provided we only make it through another year. Ron.

Make sure they give you your old bearing. Clean it up, and it makes a splendid paperweight! -Mike |

Re: prices/service
Where are you located? Are those prices good for any of the rest of us who need bearings replaced?
