Depending on price

would be interested, or am I too late?

Doing a quick count, I come up with 15 or 16 sets so far. Is anyone really keeping score?

+1 - I need a new set but I have been struggling with the idea of which mounts I want to buy... this would solve my problem.. I might even buy 2.

I know its still in the planning but it would be great if we could get these this summer.. for my car's creaking sake.. lol

Re: Group buy interest information (motor mounts)

So is this just a pipe dream? I would be in, or could go group n if this never happens. Sooner the better though.

Re: Group buy interest information (motor mounts)

Strange to read about your motor mounts failures guys... but mine have been there for the past 14 years, they are still in great condition...

Just wondering why you're all experiencing this?

Re: Group buy interest information (motor mounts)

Project still moving. Vendors are either not interested, dont get back to me, or choose the first route (not interested) by quoting insane build out prices and or expectations for pre-purchase. I have worked through 14 specific motor mount companies. I have a few more in my list before I move on to just urethane molders (without motor mount experience).

Re: Group buy interest information (motor mounts)

I had the same results when I looked into this in the past. As soon as they saw the OEM mounts they took a step back and went, "no way".

Have you considered making the mounts slightly shorter to help the stage 3 hood clearance issue as well as line up the drivetrain better?
