firewall question

I was wondering where i can come through the firewall. I am putting in my tranny temp gauge and I dont know where. Is it the black rubber thing with the arrow pointing up. I am not sure. Thanks for the help.

You can make your own hole or make a hole on the side of the rubber thing and seal it up.

Is it an electric or capilliary temp gauge? With the electric ones, you can just run the wire up right next to the AC drain hose without any problems.

There is an unused hole with a rubber plug in it just down and to the left of the brake fluid tank. Thats what I use.
