Anyone playing ProStreet?

Sure it's flawed, but it's fun.

Right now I have a 350Z I got for free running 7.88 with 413bhp ~387tq.

It's funny to me because I just watched a bunch of Youtube vids of people running similar times with > twice the power.

Engine and drivetrain stage 1, stock body, stage 2 tires, plenty of room for improvement.
I got to say though I'm disappointed in the lack of Subaru love in this game.

Gfx is turned way down.
The E6300 can't handle this game (neither can ATI drivers ) but I found a E6750 on Ebay for $170. C2Ds are going cheap. Get'em while their hot.

I had it for the PS2, and am thinking about getting it for the PS3, now that I have that. My drag cars were the 1970 Chevelle SS, and the 1970 Hemi 'Cuda, that somehow said 440 on the "hockey" stripe. My "Speed" car was the 911 Turbo, and the WRX STi was my circuit car. I used the 2005 GTO for drift. There is a cheat for the PS2 version, but I don't know if it works on the PS3.

I has a bunch of cars. 240sx circuit, WRX STI circuit, Cobalt high speed, M3 high speed, Silvia S15 drift, new GTO drift, 350Z now running 6.99 @ 230mph.
Next few circuits I win will net me a free Viper or GT R34. Only car I actually bought was the STI.

This game is having issues though. Sometimes polygons pop out of things like windows or wheels or trees or whatever and blocks my view of the road. ):
ATI is to blame. ):

the PS3 demo for Pro Street seemed kinda lame, although the actual game may be better?

i'm waiting for Burnout Paradise - that demo was really fun.

This game gets better when you get better cars, but I guess it doesn't really live up to the hype.
I think it's fun though and it's the only new racing game I have at the moment.

The PS2 version was OK, and not nearly as fun as NFS Most Wanted or Carbon. Pretty lame overall. I have to go get GTR2 for my PC so I can get some more use out of that wheel.

The PS2 version had less cars, features, detuned physics and graphics overall compared to the other versions.

I was playing Most Wanted during my trip in Florida, and it was fun, but the police challenges really started pissing me off, having to crash through 8 barriers while being chased by 15 cars.

If I had to choose between them, I'd choose ProStreet just because I enjoy the tuning so much and having to drive through a whole city gets very tedious.
Also the music in this game is more my style.

OH HELL YEAH!!!!!!! I race it from time to time on my PC, but a PS3 version would be insane!!!!! Good call Alan. Now send it to the company.

I had Hot Pursuit 2, Underground, Underground 2, Most Wanted, Carbon, and Pro Street for the PS2. HP2 and Most Wanted were my favorites. I think I might be missing one from that list.....

First NFS game I've skipped getting in a while.

Its all enclosed - NFS is supposed to be a street racing game, and I feel the police were the best part of the last two installments. With that gone, I can't justify dropping $60 on yet ANOTHER racing game that only lets me go around a track - Forza is the best sim out anyway, its no where near that, I've played the demo.

Just my thoughts on why I didn't get it. If I got it, it would be for 360 anyway, I don't really buy many games for my PS3, only ones that are exclusives (Hello GT5!)
